Food logistics: Nestlé reduces transport distances by 30 per cent thanks to central warehouse

At Nestlé’s new central warehouse in Mecklar near Bad Hersfeld, which is operated by pfenning logistics, Automated Guided Vehicles are used in the fully automated narrow-aisle warehouse and drones for automated inventory management.
